Understanding the Treatment Process
Dr. Aviles evaluates candidacy with attention to shape, shade, balance, and tooth structure. The former site described a two-visit process for many patients.
Preparing for Your Veneers
During the initial visit, Dr. Aviles takes impressions and gathers information to determine the exact shape, size, and color of the veneers. A very small amount of enamel may be removed so the veneers sit flush with the gums and surrounding teeth. A dental laboratory then crafts the custom restorations, and temporary restorations may be provided while the permanent veneers are made.
Placing Your Veneers
Roughly two weeks later, or when the veneers are ready, Dr. Aviles checks the shade, shape, and fit. After adjustments, a special adhesive secures the veneers in place. Patients can leave with a transformed smile and typically little downtime.
